Roku Review
Are you looking for something better than digital TV but don’t want to pay for expensive satellite or cable TV service? Do you hate driving and standing in line to get a DVD and being charged big bucks for not returning them on time? Well Roku Review may have the solution for you.
Let me introduce you to Roku Review, an unbiased evaluation on the best streaming player with built-in wireless you can find. With Roku you can watch the best movies, TV shows, music, live sports, games, photos and more. The live streaming feature allows you instant access to all your favorite entertainment on your TV, whenever you want it.
No PC is needed. You simply need *mid-high speed internet (DSL or U-verse) and virtually any TV. You can have Roku up and running quickly, in as little as 5 – 10 minutes. It comes with a simple yet effective remote control that is very easy to use. There are no extra monthly bills. Simply access your existing Netflix subscription. You can access lots of free shows, movies and music. Available on demand are the latest blockbusters. Roku is constantly adding entertainment choices. There’s always something new for you to watch, hear and enjoy.
Are you in the mood for instant laughs, chills & thrills? Roku has 150,000+ plus movies, shows and games readily available at your fingertips. Support is included for English subtitles so you can understand foreign movies and has 1080p HD video for an excellent Netflix viewing experience. The most current TV shows are on Hulu Plus. Crackle provides free movies. Amazon Instant Video has all latest releases from Hollywood. Pandora delivers streaming music [free]. Finally you can even access EPIX and HBO Go.
Roku has 4 models: LT, HD, XD, and XS.
I own the Roku LT. It works great for what we want. We use it primarily for Netflix, which has tons of movies and TV shows. Roku HD has an expandable memory slot and Bluetooth. Roku XD plays the best HD video (1080p). Roku XS comes with an enhanced remote with motion control for games. Also, includes a free edition of Angry Birds game. And has an Ethernet port and USB port.
If you decide to purchase a Roku, you may want to also get a HDMI cable, which is sold separately. High-definition improves the visual quality to give you that movie theater experience that everyone loves.
Here is a little tip: When I set up my Roku, I was asked for my credit card number. They said they want to have it on hand in case I wanted to update to a subscription service at a later date. After discussing with them at some length that I would not ever be interested in doing that, they agreed to connect without taking my credit card info. This way I could be assured that I would not receive a charge on my credit card.
Now of course, if you want to pay for a subscription for HBO or whatever, then you may want to get your ducks in a row. The choice is up to you. Some people don’t like to have to wait to set things up at a later date. They want to have readily available access to additional subscriptions. Just remember, some of those subscriptions come with a price.
.
With Roku you don’t have to have reoccurring charges like you do with a DVR service. You can view the best selection of TV shows, movies, sports and music super fast. I know this miniature device has definitely improved the entertainment quality in our house.
As you can see, Roku review has introduced you to a variety of different Roku models along with all the features you could possibly want. Plan to treat your family and friends to many wonderful entertainment experiences.
